Hi Everybody,

I am currently doing Dual degree course in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay. I am keenly interested in Software Devlopment,programming and making websites. Apart from the computer related interests I am also interested in photography, making good friends ,talking ,and watching TV.

Projects I have Done :

• jNEWS - (http://irss.sourceforge.net) Applications that collect data from RSS-compliant sites are called RSS readers or "aggregators." jNEWS is such an application. It lets you gather, organize, update, and store information from any compliant source in a convenient, easy to use interface, save selected information in various formats for offline viewing and sharing, and much more. jNEWS is also free of charge , fast , cross-platform , and unobtrusive. It's easy to install, easy to use, and easy to move.jNEWS is licencsed under LGPL.It supports RSS ( till 2.0 ),OPML,Atom Feeds
• jMsngr - (http://jmsngr.sourceforge.net) World's first third party open source java yahoo yahoo messenger client.It have some unique features like Auto Reply when you are not on the desk.
• iPlay - A software designed for SAC,IIT Bombay to manage user, results , timetable ,awards ,online display of score and other important things during InterIIT sports meet during Summer 2003.This software extensively relied on technologies like Java , MySQL , LDAP , JSP , JDBC .
• Micromouse - Autonomous robot which has to solve 16X16 maze without any human intervention. Our robot used 8052 microcontroller which was programmed in C and used Bellman’s Flood Fill Algorithm to solve the maze. Also I developed a graphical simulation to monitor the algorithm mouse is using and to easily check it on various varieties of maze.
• IRAPEG - Infrared Accident Prevention Electronic Gadget was a model based on the interaction of Infrared waves emitted by the gadget, which automatically can control the Automobile to prevent accident. As this uses Infrared waves it can work well in adverse environmental conditions like heavy fog.
• Custom Software - Apart from that I had designed many custom softwares for my hostel and Techfest to make services better

• [ 15 Nov 2000 ] :: Made IRAPEG ( Infra Red Accident Prevention Electronic Gadget )
• [ 29 Sept 2001 ] :: This was the first day I touched Computer !!
• [ 5 Aug 2002 ] :: I got post of Techfest Web Organizer
• [ 17 Jan 2003 ] :: I got the work to maintain my Hostel Website
• [ 31 Jan 2003 ] :: Got Fifth position in Chemisoft 2003 for Equation Balancer Software
• [ 29 Feb 2003 ] :: Became Computer Secretary of my hostel
• [ 20 Apr 2003 ] :: Became Web Coordinator for Techfest 2004
